Ah, Spring In New Mexico.

When high winds and blowing dust are the norm.

As you can see, I am very concerned.

  1. As long as the only thing from outdoors that gets inside is sunshine...

  5. As long as you can find a nice sun puddle to lay your head, all is good with your world.

  11. We are expecting a weekend of icky weather after two nice days. Rain, cold, sleet, freezing rain and maybe snow. I give up!

  14. It's hard to be overly concerned when you have a good sun spot.

  15. The Human's AP lit class read a poem called January Dandelion the other day and here are a few lines:

All Nashville is a chill. And everywhere
Like desert sand, when the winds blow,
There is each moment sifted through the air,
A powdered blast of January snow.

So maybe you can think of your desert sand as a "blast of January snow." Oh--that's no better? Well, we tried!

You don't look very worried about it either way, Elliott. You are a Very Good Boy. Your Mom's favorite maybe???
